Body is our main interface with the world. Through it we sense what is going on around us, both broadly in nature and more narrowly in human interaction. We use our body to sense hot, cold, wet and dry. But we also use it to sense other people and when they are anxious, happy, engaged or frustrated. Body is most useful to us when we need to ground ourselves and focus on the current moment. It is essential if we want to be fully present through our life experience.
